●悪しき習慣の「没办法！」の口癖
中国に来て気をつけていることがいろいろありますが、今日ちょっと心に残ったので、ひとつ紹介します。
それは「没办法！（しかたがないよ～（直訳：方法がない））」を口癖にしないことです。
中国人はとにかく没办法をよく口にします。
先日、協力会社の人と仕事の打ち合わせをしていても、別の人に仕事をさせていて、その人がうまくやっていないことに対し、いろいろ理由をならべ簡単に「没办法！」と言ってしまいます。
この一年半、ずーっと聞き続けていると、どうも彼らは、様々な状況でいろんな困難や納得のいかないこと、不満に思ったときなどに用いているようです。
今日、友人（日本人）と話していて、それは思考停止していることで悪しき習慣であるという意見の一致をみました。（やっぱり同じ日本人から見て思うことは一緒なんですね）
思考停止することで、向上心が無くなりトラブルに対して改善がみられない状況になると思います。社会のシステムや仕事のシステム、その他もろもろの問題点に関して、発展的に創造的に考えることをせず思考停止になるわけです。
しかし、、、
もともと、中国老百姓（一般人）たちは、トップにたつ権力者に翻弄され苦痛を受け続けた歴史があまりにも長く、そして現在も共産党をリーダーとする社会主義体制で、他の民主国家と比べて老百姓は権力者に翻弄されています。そして社会の様々なシステムや社会資本などすべてトップダウンで上から降りてくるもので、老百姓がどうにかできるものとは考えないようなのです（もちろん徐々に変わってきますけど）。
そうしたなかで、困難や不満などに対して立ち向かうことを追求していけば、権力者に立ち向かうことになり、粛清の対象になってしまいます。
したがって、没办法！と言って思考停止に陥ることで世の中うまく渡ってきた、、、というかそうしないと生きていけなかった、、、。
そんな悲しい民族であったということです。（こういうところでも日本人に生まれて良かったと思います）
しかし、そうした歴史的社会的背景を理解したとしても、やはり、没办法は悪しき習慣です。
別に権力者（中国共産党）に立ち向かうことにもならない、些細なトラブルや困難でもすぐに没办法！と言い、思考停止に陥っています。それでは成長が見込めないと考えます。どう問題が起きないように改善すればいいのか？どう快適に社会生活が送れるようになるのか？もっともっと考えるべきです。
思考停止せずに常に発展的に創造的に社会と向き合っていきたいと常々思い没办法！が口癖にならないように、そうした思考方法にならないよう気をつけています。
