　辞書で調べると日本語の「品質」にあたる言葉は、中国語では「質量」です。量があれば「良い」という感覚が大勢を占めていると思います。
　近年、日本においてユニクロ製品に代表されているような中国製＝高品質となったのは、大変な努力の賜物だと思います。

　中国内向けはまだまだですね。私も内装を依頼したことがありますが、「こんなもん」とあきらめてしまいました。

ユニクロ製品って高品質というか、まぁ値段も安いし、
　　これ「が」いい
ではなくて、
　　これ「で」いいか
という消費者の妥協の隙間を埋めた上手なビジネスだと思っていたのですが、、、違いますかね。あまりユニクロ製品を買ったこと無いから知りませんが。

内装工事は自分でやったほうが絶対きれいにできると思うんですよね・・・悲しいことに。値段が高くても内装工事を日本並みに丁寧にしてほしいというマーケットは十分あると思うのですが・・・。

初めてコメントいたします。最近中国、特に北京、上海では、1戸立ての住宅が少しずつ建っているように聞いておりますが、どうでしょうか。また日本の木造住宅なんぞは、論外でしょうか。2×4は、ぼちぼちたっているようですが、、、、

少なくともここ北京において日本で言う一戸建てはほとんどありません。最近郊外に别墅という戸建住宅の開発もありますが、その開発は数十棟～百数十棟をまとめて建設し、複数の設計プランの住宅を同じデザインで建設しています。

一方で北京旧城内である二環路内の胡同では、戸建住宅が生まれつつあるようですね。まぁ昔ながらの四合院を改装しているか、カフェやBARなどの店舗用としての開発ですね。
