どうなんでしょうこの建築。
正直な感想です。
・・・今日、近くを通りかかったので、售楼处へ行ってきました。SOHOというから住宅もあるものだと思い、どのようなプランなのか、いかにも買うふりをしながら話を聞き出そうとしているのですが、もう小さいものはすべて売れてしまっているとなかなか具体的なプランを見せてくれません。
やっとパンフレットを渡してもらい、内部のプランを見ていきました。
○售楼处
最初にこの外観を見たときに、きっとおもしろい内部空間になっているはずだと思い、住宅のプランやオフィスのプランを期待していたのですが、、、。SOHOというのにすべて共用のトイレや水周り、、、そうただのオフィスビル。そして中央に公共空間を集めているコアタイプのオフィスビル。そして単純に外壁の変化に合わせて、オフィスフロアの端が微妙なラインが生まれています。
・・・・・そう、外観と内部の空間が切れてしまっています。
確かにCBDにひとつのスカイラインとなるでしょうが、、、。外観だけのような感じがします。
もうすこしピーターアイゼンマンの別の作品を検証しながら、改めてコメントをしたいと思います。
きっとこの外観には大きな意味があるはず。。。それを期待します。

SOHO尚都は、国際的に最も良く見られている前衛建築家のピーターアイゼンマンとLab建築工作室が担当した設計です。
Labの設計構想によると、これは道を挟んで、37000平方メートルの低層階店舗街、二棟の中高層のSOHO建築（小型オフィス、居住オフィス）です。店舗内部は、躍動感が豊かな現代的な風格で、五階層の店舗街立面は、ひとつひとつ変化する水晶折面から成っています。設計の中にひとつの橋があり、東西の店舗街をつなげています。店舗街の内部設計は、流行表演、音楽会などのイベントを一同に開催できるように考慮しており、さらに、北京の天気の変化によって、室外と室内が自由に変化させることができます。
設計の風格上、大胆なアンシンメトリーを採用し、横に水平で縦に垂直な紋切り型を突破し、空間の関係上豊富な変化と千差万別を強調している。外壁のアウトラインはすべて斜面と折れ線で、ビルの表面は一つ一つ変わった不規則な面を形成していて、それぞれのガラスの側面は、多くの相互に交錯したいくつかのラインを形成する。夜のとばりが訪れるとき、線の灯りの帯をまとった建築群が人を照らす珠玉になり、黒色の水晶体にも酷似し、北京のCBDにひとつのスカイラインを付加する。

ちなみにこれは建外SOHOや長城脚下的公社COMMUNE BY THE GREAT WALLのデベロッパーSOHO中国率いる潘石屹によるものです。
SOHO中国の昨年2004年の納税額、、、なんと3.03億元（40億円弱）。。。これはすべて建外SOHOの売り上げだけだというからすごいものです。
儲かっていますね、、、。
