●大山子798芸術区へ
せっかくの三連休。普段は遠くてあまり行かないところへ行こうかと、久しぶりに大山子の798芸術区へ向かうことへ。
ここ清華から大山子は交通があまり便利でありません。タクシーだともちろんすぐ（おそくら40元弱？）ですが、、、なるべくプライベートでは利用しないようにしています。地下鉄に乗ってバスに乗っておそらく1時間。しかし今日は天気が良く、比較的涼しい昼下がりでしたので、バスに乗って行くことに。バス路線を調べるとバス951で大山子の南200mぐらいのところに着くことが判明。早速バスに揺られ45分。芸術区入り口まで想像以上に早くそしてわずか２元で着くことがわかりました。
以前来たときよりもさらに多くのギャラリースペースやアトリエが生まれていました。さらに一番中心部のところには、東北菜のレストランができており、低価格の食事をすることもできるようになっていました。
アトリエができ、ギャラリーができ、カフェができ、BOOKSHOPができ、SHOPができ、レストランができ、、、と需要とともに次々と町が生まれるように形成されつつある芸術区の空間に面白みを感じました。レストランの次は何ができるのでしょうか？ドミトリー型のホテル？
BOOKSHOPは、アート専門書店ですが建築関連書籍も豊富であり、北京で最も充実した品揃えだと思います。A+Uの北京上海建築ガイドブックや今年から出版されているA+Uの中国語版も初めて目にしました。その他洋書のそろえがすばらしく、さらに今回は50％のバーゲンセールもやっていました。
前回もここに来たときに感じたのですが、展覧会情報とかイベント情報などが行き当たりばったりなんですね。芸術区全体のホームページがまともにあるわけでもなく、とても不便なのです。
・・・ということで、各ギャラリーのホームページリンク集を作成しました。とりあえずは発見できた分だけですので、他に知っているページがあれば教えてください。
今日は798SPACEで、雑誌「時尚家居」の5周年パーティが開かれていました。関係者以外は入れなかったので、普通に他のギャラリーを見て回ったあと、一休みするためにカフェに入りました。
そのカフェは798SPACEの後ろに位置し、パーティの裏方を望むことができました。ここでとてつもないものを見ることに、、、。
