●平頂山事件？
旧日本軍「平頂山事件」生存者の李佩珍さんが死去
今まで、日中の戦中戦後史によく注意をはらって見てきましたが、平頂山事件というのは初めて聞きました。
このニュース内では、
1932年9月16日、遼寧省撫順市平頂山村は旧日本軍に突然包囲された。旧日本軍は高齢者や女性、子供を含む罪のない住民3千人以上を平頂山のふもとに追い詰め、凄惨な大虐殺を行った後、証拠隠滅のため、焼却した遺体を山を崩して埋めた。さらに、火を放って村の家屋800棟以上を焼き払った。これが国内外を震撼させた「平頂山事件」だ。
となっています。
旧日本軍の罪行をまたひとつ知りました。
で、早速Googleで検索してみました。南京とかに比べればはるかに少ないヒット数のようです。
その中の多くは3000人以上という数値を紹介し、日本軍の罪行を紹介しています。
その中で3000人という数字に批判的なサイトもいくつか見ましたので紹介しておきます。

1932年9月15日深夜、満鉄経営の撫順炭坑をゲリラ部隊に急襲され、炭坑は紅蓮の炎につつまれ、逃げ惑う日本人で大混乱になった。炭坑職員5人が犠牲となる。
翌日昼頃炭坑の守備に責任を負う撫順守備隊が平頂山の住人の一部を一ヶ所に集め機関銃などで殺害。当時の色々な資料から人口約1400人、犠牲者数600人前後と分かっているし、ジュネーブでの国際連盟理事会に公表した中国側の被害者は死者７００、重傷６～７０、軽傷者約130名となっている。
にもかかわらず、本多勝一の記述はその後の中国の誇大言い分を鵜呑みにし、全村民3000人を殺害となっている。
ここでもまた本多勝一さんの責任が大きいようですね。
